MARNYS® JUNIOR syrup is recommended for children over 5 years old , adolescents, and adults. Thanks to its ingredients and formula, this product provides vitamins, defenses, and energy for children and adolescents during periods of growth, physical activity, and physiological changes. MARNYS® JUNIOR syrup contains 12 types of vitamins and royal jelly that complement the diet during growth for reasons including: Vitamin C contributes to the normal formation of collagen in the skin, bones, joints, cartilage, and blood vessels for their normal function. It also contributes to the normal function of the immune system and increased iron absorption ( EFSA ). Vitamin D is essential for normal growth and bone development and normal immune function in children. It also contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus ( EFSA ). Sources of vitamin D include fatty fish and fish oils, liver, milk, eggs, and sun exposure, as our skin produces vitamin D from solar radiation. Vitamin A contributes to the normal maintenance of vision, skin, and mucous membranes, and is involved in EFSA (Extracellular Specialization). Primary sources of vitamin A include carotenoids found in green leafy vegetables (e.g., spinach), yellow vegetables (e.g., carrots), and non-citrus yellow and orange fruits (e.g., apricots). Retinoids, found in foods of animal origin such as human milk, meat, fish liver oils, eggs, and dairy products, are also sources. Royal jelly in MARNYS® JUNIOR syrup provides a high content of unsaturated fatty acids that are involved in energy production processes. Vitamins niacin (B3) and pantothenic acid (B5) contribute to the normal function of the energy production process and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue ( EFSA ). Vitamins B12 and riboflavin (B2) contribute to the normal maintenance of red blood cells ( EFSA ). Vitamins B6 and biotin (B7) contribute to the normal function of the nervous system. Vitamin B6 also contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity. Folic acid (vitamin B9) increases folate levels in pregnant women, as low levels are a risk factor for neural tube defects in the fetus ( EFSA ).
