Resident Evil Requiem is the ninth mainline entry in Capcom's survival horror series, set in a zombie-infested Raccoon City-like environment with dual protagonists: FBI agent Grace Ashcroft and veteran Leon S. Kennedy. Players switch freely between first-person (tense survival horror for Grace, emphasizing stealth, scarce ammo, and evasion from a stalking monster) and third-person (action-focused for Leon, with guns, melee hatchet, and enemy weapons). Key mechanics include resource management, environmental puzzles, persistent gore where zombies can reanimate stronger, and DualSense enhancements like haptic feedback for bites and adaptive triggers for unique gun recoil on PS5. Resident Evil Requiem on PS5 has a PEGI 18 rating, restricting it to players aged 18 and older.
