Horizon Forbidden West for PS4 is an action RPG sequel where Aloy travels to the post-apocalyptic American West Coast—exploring ruined cities from San Francisco to Los Angeles—to find the source of a mysterious plague called the Red Blight that kills everything it touches and threatens to destroy all remaining life on Earth. Players navigate diverse biomes including lush valleys, arid deserts, snowy mountains, and decaying urban ruins while battling new machine creatures like the flying Sunwings, dinosaur-like Clawstriders, mammoth-inspired Tremortusks, and aquatic Snapmaws, plus hostile human factions including the Tenakth tribe rebels who have learned to override machines.
