Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time for PS4 is a challenging 3D platformer developed by Toys for Bob that serves as a direct sequel to the original trilogy, following Crash and Coco as they reunite the four Quantum Masks to save the multiverse from Neo Cortex and N. Tropy who have escaped their interdimensional prison. The game introduces innovative gameplay mechanics through the Quantum Masks that grant reality-bending abilities like time manipulation and gravity flipping, plus five playable characters including Crash, Coco, Neo Cortex, Dingodile, and Tawna—each with unique movesets and dedicated levels. Built from scratch using Unreal Engine 4, the PS4 version delivers vibrant visuals, precision platforming across ten themed dimensions with both third-person and side-scrolling sections, two difficulty modes (Modern with unlimited lives or Retro with traditional lives), local multiplayer for up to 4 players in competitive and co-op Pass N. Play modes, and approximately 12-15 hours for the main campaign with 100+ hours of content for completionists seeking all gems, hidden levels, and N. Sanely Perfect Relics. This video game is suitable for ages 12 and up due to its light cartoon action and playful content.
