Turmeric shots are small servings of a condensed drink containing fresh turmeric (or ground turmeric) with fresh ginger root, lemon juice, raw apple cider vinegar and black pepper. They are potent concentrated small drinks made in a blender, about 3-4 ounces, that boost the immune system, fight disease by reducing inflammation, and improve gut health. To make a turmeric shot, you can use fresh turmeric, fresh lemons (or oranges), water, and black pepper. Alternatively, you can make ginger turmeric shots by blending fresh turmeric, ginger, oranges, and lemon juice, and then straining the juice.
